The online gallery 25/41 offers DJs and visual artists a platform and creates synergies between those two art forms. The visual artefact that visually refers to an iris was developed from the attempt to use the music of the set itself to generate the visuality it is supposed to represent. For this purpose, the audio spectrum of the set is visually transformed in real time. This approach makes it possible to create a cross-media appearance. It works both as a live visual for the set and as a key visual element for the vinyl cover design. The output simultaneously represents the entire set and the respective track that is currently being played. DJ Mix © FAUSER.
