In addition to the main organization and implementation of the TEDxEvent format in Graz, the challenge was to present the theme of the ideas conference in a visually interesting way. The chosen theme “Beginners Mind” is a mindset that is all about approaching the unknown with curiosity instead of fear, encountering the familiar with a fresh eye and breaking out of manifested patterns. The intense TED red was combined with clear, friendly colors and simple, playful shapes to soften it and bring it into a calm, neutral context that harmonizes better with the theme.
