[DE] Benjamin Ressi arbeitet an der Schnittstelle von Grafik-, Motion- und generativem Design. Vor allem interessieren ihn flexible visuelle Systeme, Typografie und generatives Design, im Kontext ästhetischer Untersuchung zeitgenössischer Themen.
Die Faszination für Grafik Design besteht in der experimenteller Suche nach ästhetischen visuellen Lösungen. Besonderer Fokus seiner Arbeiten liegt darin visuelle Systeme durch Generatives Design vielseitig einsetzbar zu machen und Grafik Design sinnvoll interdisziplinär zu denken. Denn mit der rasant wachsenden Technisierung erhöhen sich nicht nur die Möglichkeiten, sondern auch die Notwendigkeiten, diese im aktuellen Kontext kritisch zu hinterfragen und darauf zu achten, dass technologischer Fortschritt auch tatsächlich innovativ und nachhaltig eingesetzt wird.
[EN] Benjamin Ressi works at the intersection of graphic, motion and generative design. He is particularly interested in flexible visual systems, typography and generative design in the context of the aesthetic investigation of contemporary topics.
His fascination for graphic design lies in the experimental search for aesthetic visual solutions. A particular focus of his work is to make visual systems more versatile through generative design and to think about graphic design in an holistic and interdisciplinary way. This is necessary because the rapid growth of technology not only increases the possibilities, but also the need to critically question them in the current context and to ensure that technological progress is actually used in an innovative and sustainable way.
